Extra Project: Concentration camps

Objectives:

- Promote the worth of Human Rights and historical memory .
- Encourage worth and respect of people and Human Rights.
- Use the ICT as didactic and and communicative resource.
- Improve collaborative work and decision making.
- Improve oral expression

Steps:
Each group will receive the name of a concentration camp located in Europe for searching information about it. The final product shall include:

- Location of the camp and years/period of use
- Concentration or/and extermination camp
- Organization of the camp
- Estimation of the amount of prisoners during camp's life
- Living conditions of prisoners; labor developed by them, punishments, etc.
- Curious facts

- Sachenshausen (Germany)
- Perm 36 (Rusia)
- Karagandá (Kazakhstan)


Final product:
- Mind map
- Oral exposition (10 minutes maximum)
