Extra Project: The desert (Proyect: The desert no-books IES Francés de Aranda 2015-2016)

This project consists of elaborating a power point presentation about the desert. Our objective is to develop a better understanding of this ecosystem and the people that live in it. To do so, each group will work with a different ecosystem: Arabia, Sahara, Gobi, Kalahari and the Arctic Desert. 

Parts your project must have:

1. Location of the desert.

2. Explanation of the origin of the desert: what are the causes? (climate, geomorphology, etc).

3. Description of the most important elements: landscape, animal, plants, resources

4. Analyze the population: demography, traditions (language, religion, music, etc...).

5.  Problems they have in their daily lives and with the government.

6. Bibliography. (To know how to cite you can use the information of the following link: how to cite the bibliography)

Recommendations:

- It's a presentation, it should be attractive.

- Don't write everything on the powerpoint, you should develop the main ideas

- Elaborate an interesting explanation for your mates.

Note: 

- The oral presentation can't exceed 15 minutes

- Elaborate your own material. If you copy from internet, the mark will be negative.
